OUR LEGACY
Hällingsjö Träkonstruktioner AB was founded in the early 20th century by Martin Andersson. At first, wooden ladders and flagpoles were made, but after a visit to the Forshaga carpet factory, which then moved to Gothenburg, Martin got an idea. Instead, he started turning wooden rolls which the factory could wrap its carpets around. This activity went on for about 60 years.
Today, our main occupation is to manufacture packaging in wood and plywood. The company has been stable for four generations and is now run by Martin Andersson’s grandchildren of the same name. In 2017, we expanded our operations through the acquisition of Woodman, which focused on the production of pallets and wooden boxes, and since 2020, we have been part of the Hammarviken Group.
Today we are approx. 25 employees and our vision is to continue to expand production to achieve a better flow. We want to focus more on transport and logistics companies in western Sweden – the local anchoring is important to us.
